Cancellation Policy

ENTIRE AGREEMENT This agreement represents the full understanding between the Photographer/Videographer (“Photographer”) and the Client. It supersedes all prior agreements, written or verbal. Any changes must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties. SESSION GUIDELINES Photographer may be subject to rules imposed by venues, event staff, or locations. These rules may affect where and how the Photographer can capture images. The Client is responsible for coordinating with the venue regarding permissions or restrictions. The photographer will offer technical recommendations upon request, but is not liable for limitations caused by venue policies. IMAGE & VIDEO RIGHTS All photos and videos remain the property of the Photographer until final payment is received. Before final payment, images may not be copied, reproduced, or altered without written permission. After final payment, the Client receives shared copyright and a personal-use license. Images and videos may be downloaded, printed, and shared for personal use. Commercial use, resale, or editing beyond basic cropping requires written approval. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY In the rare event the Photographer becomes ill, injured, or otherwise unable to perform, reasonable efforts will be made to provide a qualified replacement. If no replacement is available, liability is limited to a full refund of all payments received. The photographer takes reasonable precautions when capturing, storing, and delivering digital files. If images or videos are lost, damaged, or unusable due to equipment failure, theft, or circumstances beyond control, liability is limited to the amount paid. Partial loss will be refunded proportionally. RETAINER & CANCELLATION A retainer is required to secure the session date and is non-refundable. Cancellations must be submitted in writing. If the Client cancels, the Photographer is released from further obligations. The initial deposit is non-refundable; however, all other payments made are eligible for a refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled booking time. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled booking forfeit refunds. SERVICE DELIVERY The Photographer will make every reasonable effort to arrive on time, provide the agreed-upon coverage, and deliver the final edited images or videos within the stated turnaround time (typically 2–6 weeks, depending on session type).
