Sweet Elopement in Hampton Roads

I had the absolute loveliest time capturing these two lovebirds on their special day. They decided to go to the courthouse for a simple ceremony with their parents and wanted some sweet photos at a nearby park to remember the day. It was a little gloomy out, but we made the most of it and captured some of the sweet winter colors before spring shows its face.

As much as I love capturing couples on their wedding days, I love capturing their families, nearly, just as much.

A special story from this session was that the couple got married on the bride's grandparents' anniversary who celebrated love and life together for over 50 years.

It has been a goal of mine to bring more personality and fun to my sessions, as well as intimate symbols of the couple and their life together. Since these two were so flexible and fun to coach, I had the idea to use the grooms truck for a few shots and I love how these came out!
