Mother to an Angel
Hilal's maternity session at The Grotto was a dream come true. It was a perfect warm fall day, with the sun shining through the trees, and highlighting this angel mama.
Hilal had a lot of beautiful inspiration photos from Pinterest and Instagram, saved on her phone so she could easily show me poses she wanted to try with her husband.
I always encourage my clients to look at as many inspiration photos as possible before a session, even if we don't reference them one time, the photos will stay with you, and help you be confident in front of the camera.
Hilal and her husband were naturals, however, and made my job so easy. Hilal looked so beautiful in her flowy white dress, perfectly showing off her belly. But my favorite part of her wardrobe was that glorious flower crown! She just looked like such an angelic fairy princess mama.
I also believe it is just as important to have sweet and intimate moements in every shoot, as it is to have fun, laugh and let every part of your relationship shine through in each capture. It was so funny to see Hilal and her husband mirroring their bellies and sharing a laugh.
